Over the recent Jubilee weekend I was invited to take photographs of the Heritage Day and Street Party by Louie Young, who was helping run the events organised by Alton Community Events. This presented an opportunity to get out of my comfort zone creatively, which is never a bad thing. Given that my usual subject are mostly nature and landscape where I'm free to wander in solitude, the opportunity to photograph events and people was both a little daunting and exciting. It
